Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent for Space and Defense, Kristin Fisher covers all aspects of space starting from NASA to the recently formed Space Force as well as commercial space companies and space tourism. Kristin was mother of NASA astronauts as well as an avid space fan was raised within the space industry. She worked for five years in the position of White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Trump and Biden Administrations. During that time, she was also a reporter covering impeachment proceedings for the president, the 2020 Presidential campaign and the efforts of two administrations to control the Coronavirus Pandemic. The reporter also traveled extensively with the president and vice president and was a part of a classified visit to Afghanistan along with the then-President Donald Trump. Kristin was a TV local reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned the Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter before joining CBS in the year 2015. Utilizing her expertise on the set, Kristin established Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company was a specialist in documentary style films for corporate clients including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Boston University. The couple's husband and daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
